General Election Information

Voting by Mail: Ballots are mailed to all voters who signed up to vote-by-mail
beginning on September 20. Replacement ballots can be obtained
by contacting the County Clerk’s Office at 609-265-5229.

Apply to Vote by Mail: Voters can still sign up to vote-by-mail by sending or dropping off
a vote-by-mail application to the County Clerk’s Office up to 3 PM
on November 3. October 28 is the deadline to do so and receive a
ballot in the mail. From October 29 through November 3, vote-bymail
ballots can only be given out in-person.

Return a Mail-In Ballot: Burlington County has 29 Secure Ballot Drop Boxes for voters to
return their vote-by-mail ballots to by 8 PM on November 4 If a
voter mails their ballot back, it must be postmarked by November
4. Voters can also return their ballots to the Board of Elections by
8 PM on November 4.

Early Voting: There are nine (9) Early Voting locations. Any registered voter in
Burlington County may cast a vote at any location from October
25 through November 2. All locations are open Monday –
Saturday, 10 AM – 8 PM, and Sunday from 10 AM – 6 PM.

Register to Vote: Residents can register to vote and update their voter registration
information, like their address, with the Superintendent of
Elections. New Burlington County voters must register by October
14 to be eligible to vote in the November 4 General Election.

Sample Ballots: Sample Ballots are mailed to all non-vote-by-mail voters at the end
of October. Voters are strongly advised to check their polling place
and voting district information on their Sample Ballot, as some
towns have been redistricted and polling places have changed
since 2024.
Sample Ballots now come with a barcode that voters can use to
sign-in quickly at their polling place on Election Day.
