Mount Holly UEZ Coordinator (Full Time or Part Time)

Job Description

The Township of Mount Holly is seeking a highly organized and energetic individual to assume the position of Mount Holly Urban Enterprise Zone Coordinator. The UEZ office manages the day-to-day operations of programs that promote economic and community development. Working closely with the Mount Holly UEZ Board, the Mount Holly governing body and the State of New Jersey, the UEZ Coordinator needs to maximize resources, expand program activities and promote Mount Holly as a destination for living, working and investment.

The UEZ Coordinator will assist in planning, organizing, developing, coordinating and implementing program activities that support industrial, office, or Central Business District businesses, related to business attraction and retention for Mount Holly; solicit new businesses to the UEZ Program; retain existing businesses in the UEZ Program; establish and maintain effective working relationships with businesses; and assist in the implementation of marketing campaigns.

The ideal candidate should be team oriented, responsible, reliable and have a strong motivation to undertake challenging work. Candidates should have a four-year college degree from an accredited college or university in a related subject area (i.e. communications, marketing, business administration, public administration, urban planning, etc.), and five (5) years of direct experience in either economic development, or working for another urban enterprise zone (UEZ).  Strong management, leadership, verbal and written communication skills required.  Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.  Must be comfortable representing the Township at relevant professional forums.
