100 Ashurst Lane (Ashurst Mansion)
It has been brought to the Township’s attention that the public may be misinformed on a future Planning Board application.
Attached, you will find the plan and letter addressing the Ashurst Property in question. 100 Ashurst Lane.pdf
First, the Planning Board meeting for September will be held on September 28th, not September 21st.
Second, the plan does not call for the demolition of the Ashurst Mansion.
The application in question has been deemed incomplete by the Township Engineer. No Planning Board application can be advertised without this determination. The developer will be required to re-advertise and notify the residents within the 200 foot list once the application has been deemed complete. The Developer has not approached the Township with any request for PILOT’s or a redevelopment agreement.
The Planning Board will most likely hear the application at a future Planning Board meeting, at which time the public can address the Board with their concerns as the Developer presents their plan.
This is purely for informational purposes for the public.
Thank you,
Mount Holly Township
