**Residential garbage containers must be smaller than 96 gallons.**

Carpet can be disposed of on regularly scheduled garbage collection day if carpet is cut into 3 foot sections and secured in rolls with duct tape/rope to prevent unraveling.

Loveseats and sofas are permitted for disposal on your weekly scheduled garbage collection day. No special arrangements need to be made. It is suggested that you do no place the item curbside until very late the night prior or very early the morning of your scheduled collection to risk being fined by Code Enforcement or it becoming damaged from the weather.

Sofas that contain metal (for example, sleeper or reclining features) will not be collected by the garbage company unless the metal frame is removed.  Once the metal frame is removed, the sofa can be disposed of on your scheduled collection day. The metal frame will be picked up separately and on a pre-scheduled day. You must call 609-261-7338 ext 221 to set up metal collection.
